A look into the Future

Here is another new discovery for me, Steffie Christiaens a talented designer that refined her skills in the houses of Balenciaga and Martin Margiela. She started her design studio in 2010 and was a finalist in 2009  at the Hyères festival. This is her second official fashion show in Paris. Shes is a conceptual stylist that plays with the construction of clothes playing with shapes, dimensions and unique fabrics. So we can say she is an experimental artist constructing unique clothes. I chose the opening dress of the show because it really embodies her vision. I think this a designer that may just have some of the elements of the future of fashion design, very innovative. It is one of the most creative collections I have seen in the last days.
