Shoes in Paris
The Shoes in Paris project is a professional project to create a look book of shoes in this case Walter Steiger (who has been very kind to lend me the shoes) to do the project. The idea is to find creative ways to photograph shoes all through Paris with out any models, this puts the Shoe on the spotlight which is very important to me and to the potential client and also triggers creativity to really find original and beautiful ways to do so. The first picture (The Heel Tower) is now a finalist on an international photography contest held in Madrid. It is a very passionate project for me because it combines my two passions : shoes & my beautiful Paris.
The beginning of the project…
Walter Steiger FW 2010-2011
Céline from Walter Steiger lent me 2 pairs to take the pictures I want, I feel someone lent me Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss for the weekend.
I wanted to share another picture of the project Shoes in Paris, it is an exciting experience, I have realized there are so many ways to show a shoe?!!
Yes, it is true it is becoming an addiction.
WALTER STEIGER, Heels that rock
I had he opportunity to visit the Parisian store (83, rue fabourg Saint-Honoré) and Atelier (Work shop of Costume made shoes) of Walter Steiger. It actually was my first one to one with a brand for a blog I contributed with. It was such a nice experience I have decided to launch my own. The visit was a real nice surprised begining by the hosts Giulio Steiger (the son of Walter!) who is very helpful and really nice and of course their PR Manager Céline who is also very nice. Walter Steiger Shoes are characterized for their unique heels, not long ago the futuristic wedges and today with the metal heels that really make look the shoe like a little work of art, his shoes are not about fashion but more for collecting, they will be original yet with a classic touch that goes beyond one season.
You will rock anywhere you go with those shoes!!
