Phone Shoot

I am always amused to see how the super elegant ladies and VIP at the shows amusing themselves taking picture after picture, always elegant never loosing their style, I am not sure what they would use it for, the part that intrigues me is the filming at the end, it is automatic all the time, what do they do with the videos, can someone tell me :)?
