Last Monday I had the opportunity to attend my first “Vernissage” in Milan. I think I started with the right foot. Organized by Nicolo Cardi owner of the hip gallery Cardi black box and independent curator Vlarimir Restoin Roitfeld (son of Carine Roitfeld) and famous for finding innovative ways to present and support new talents. Last January he openend his own space where he currently exhibits the work of legendary Peter Lindbergh . They presented the works of emerging talent Nicolas Pol with an exhibition called  “After Modern Vermin Control” , this is the first time solo for the artist that has already presented his work in other corners of the world like Brasil, NY and Paris.  His inspiration , Pol’s preoccupation of science advancements… that there is nothing else to be discovered or surprised by, a little apocaliptic we would say, but very interesting pieces mixing styles of painting and collage.  I am sure we will find in him in some of those amazing Milanese apartment’s walls.
