Elegance a la Prada

Today I had one of those moments that I think I had to be pinched. After the Prada show I was backstage and at some point I had Miuccia Prada in front being interviewed, Tim Blanks saying hi, talking a few seconds with Francesco Vezzoli, Stephano Tonchi and Andre Tolley, I think I had this dream 10 years ago (mmm well there was no Francesco then! but maybe it was a premonition). This was my first Prada show, as I came to Milan besides Missoni it was my goal and Miracle Man stroke again. I was no lucky to go in but to see one f the most beautiful collections of Miuccia in the last seasons, a collection that in one side respected the codes that made her PRADA, that vintage inspiration with feminine touches (flowers, sequins). Mixing fabrics and playing with the shapes. Some amazing leather pieces, the brown leather coat worn by Daria, or the red skirt od Saskia where just outstanding. My favorite look, the first one, filled with romance and a certain melancholy. Just beautiful. But I have not come to the best part, the bag! I am smelling “it” , it has been a long time I have not seen a bag of Prada that I think would transcend the seasons but this season I think those big “bowling” may do so  as the pouches, I know I want one of the big bags, they may be on my next dream. Also she played with the shoes more this time which is great , last season’s Japanese style ones did not make much of a dream, this season we can think comfort on one side and sexy on the other, I loved the red ones! Just like yesterday in Frankie Morello. It was a nice dream… hope to tell you soon about the next one. Big thank you to MM.
