The Lanvin show is always one of the most anticipated during fashion week, the fashion elite, buyers and press are curious to see what Alber and Lucas’ Lanvin men will look like this season. For me it is one of the best shows when it comes to moments, the clothes, the people and listening to this talented duo talk about their collection and vision. Alber told Suzy Menkes ” It is not about yesterday or tomorrow, it is about now” I dress the man of today, and indeed when you see the collection you can find a piece for different kind of men wether they are a suit oriented or chic sport, in the fashion world or in the business world they will find their “bonheur” at Lanvin. This season was also filled with luxurious fabrics, leathers, a redefinition of the tie slimming it down to its maximum and a very unique “IPAD” cover that looks like a slim mirror. I thought the fiusha piece where a touch of genius, showing color can go very nicely in contrast with other sober colors. Another winner for the brand. As for the people you can wee there is the Mr. Kayne West, I tried to capture him in a more natural way, Haider Hakerman, my fashion idol Ben Cobb, business inspiration Jefferson Hack and many amazingly dressed men.
