This week I attended the Mulberry press days at their parisian showroom. Branding wise I think it was one of the best collection and presentation. Going to the collection this season the brand had a very cute golden flower that was adpated to almost all the pieces weather they where the big bags (Cecily for example), leather cuffs and bracelets, shoes and even in the buttons of some of the coats, in a very chic way they branded everything. Being of course a house whos’ core value is leather they have mastered all the product lines going from accessories to the most beautiful leather cape I have seen, and all the non leather pieces had very nice prints and textures that where a natural extension of the rest. I think in some years the brand will be as successful in pret-a-porter as she is now in bags and accessories. Lastly presentation wise everything was just beautiful under the theme of the little dwarfs and pistachio green (one of the key color of this collection), you could see it in the lookbook, the press release folder and of course the little dwarfs (Snow white would be proud) all over the show room. I love it when brands go 360 degrees in everything they do.
