This season Alber Elbaz surprised again with an amazing fall winter campaign featuring real woman from 18 -80 not necessarily models. The idea of eEbaz is taking in some way the fashion into the streets , how do real people look in his clothes, with a masterful art direction by Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse (she’s is just the talented wife of Jonathan Newhouse – president of Conde Nast), the campaign really gives us a glamourous painting of how can Lanvin dress “ordinary” people. Besides the innovative theme I find quite interesting how they successfully filtered the marketing touch of showing more accessories, as part of the scenario of each look they are just part of the perfect picture and certainly part of future revenue, great combination.
