Painted Corsets
Frank Sorbier is one of the most theatrical designers in Paris, one of the happy few official members of the the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture, his shows are exclusive and always promise to surprise his attendees. He sees dresses as a way to tell stories and has made his trademark through that, making him very different from the other designers, and he can be considered in some way “patrimoine’ among the french designers that present their collection every season during the Haute Couture Fashion week. He was among the first designers I ever covered. So here you have his Spring Summer collection, inspired on greek goddesses with their hand painted bustiers complimented by unique skirts some long, some short just well adapted to the corsets. Very unique, that is one of the missions of Haute Couture.
Be Unique,
