As I am recovering the photos of the Spring Summer collections, I stumbled on Manish Arora’s first collection for Paco Rabbane. As you will see this collection was a little more out there (normal, we have to make a statement when we relaunch a house). The heart of the collection was metal which is the heart of craft of Paco Rabbane’s legacy, wether it is on dresses, bags, shoes or appliqués. I loved the fact that he did mix fabric (colored and metallic looking)  with the metal which gave the collection the color touch of Manish himself. I have a feeling the collection will nicely evolve in the following season’s merging his colorful world and and Rabanne’s metallic allure.
