Louis Vuitton & Marc Jacobs Exhibition in Paris

Heritage & Passion

Today, I went to the Louis VuittonMarc Jacobs exhibition at le Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. I think it is one of the most beautiful fashion exhibitions I have seen. If you are a fan of Louis Vuitton and/or Marc Jacobs you should not miss it! The exhibition takes you through the journey of how the Louis Vuitton brand was built from its first trunks to the creation of the famous hologram that still captivates millions around the globe to buy these bags. Then it takes us through a retrospective on Marc Jacobs work in the last 15 years he has been the artistic director of the house. A creative journey indeed, from the first season where Marc was completely revolutionary not showing a single bag in his first show, even Bernard Arnault was amazed but trusted Marc’s audacity, that has payed in every way. Each season his creations always staged in spectacular ways (from nurses, to Carrousels to trains) Marc has kept the press talking and in a good way, he does not only surprise us, he ignites our fashion desires. So it is the magical combination of commercial and creative that is not easy to find these days. I may sound a little passionate, yes but I can assure you will come out the same way if you visit the exhibition.I dedicate this post to another passionate LV fan that has been a great support in these days.

Be Revolutionaire

Love,

Yavidan
