Dresses in a Box

The Fall Winter collection of Lebanese designer Basil Soda was presented at the Ritz in the heart of the Place Vendome in Paris, I loved the idea of the dresses in boxes, a little like a museum. The dresses had a very futuristic-galactic theme and cut. The volumes and the way the fabrics came together was quite complex which in certain pieces looked Haute Couturish. I certainly see the influence on his latest Spring Summer Haute Couture collection. I really loved the collection specially those black/grey dresses giving  you a feminine but powerful silhouette, in his way he confirms the Power theme of these Fall Winter season.
