Lace, Embroidery and Leather

This is the the 3rd season Valentin Yudashkin shows his ready to wear collection in Paris. This season he presented a collection mainly in black and adventured more into tailoring with suits and skirts for the day and kept his trademark couture touch for the night. Many of the evening gowns had very nice embroidery work, and this time an interesting mix of materials at the same time (leather, lace-sheer fabric & sequin embroidery). I like how he plays with the body while he constructs his dresses, which can make them very flattering to the shape of a woman, I think some of those dresses can make you the queen of the night. I only have to add that missed a little color in the collection, last season he really played nicely with Orange that in some way accentuated quite successfully the craftsmanship of certain pieces. Yudashkin is the only Russian in the official calendar of the Paris Fashion Week, hopefully as the week is getting more global we will see more talent from this country.
