Bo-Bow
Alexis Mabille presented yesterday his collection at the Cercle de l’Armee in the 8th district in Paris, as always he has chosen a unique location that is an excellent frame to his presentation. Alexis Mabille is very special to me because a year ago it was the first Haute Couture show I ever saw and since then I am a fan of this work and the person. This Fall winter he played very beautifully with his trademark “The Bow” , we saw it in the prints of the fabrics, embroidered as an appliqué, earrings, bracelets and even bow shaped bag, I know it sounds like too may bows but as you see in the pictures they are all in the right place :). He also took some inspiration from his Haute Couture Fall Winter 2012 collection, putting some multicolored feathers in the skirts . In any case I like the fact that he sticks to his line of creativity and always there is that fun-sweet thing in his shows (the mix of details, the music, the family feeling) this state you can sense in front of the stage and backstage as you will see in the photos. To celebrate this great show I finished the day with a drink (or two 🙂 ) at Cointreau Prive, where I had the signature drink of Mabille a mix of strawberry, champagne, Cointreau and some pepper, what else can this mexican girl that is living her dream want?… A big hug to Alexis and his team.
