Sumptuous

Last December I had the pleasure to meet and have an interview with one of the director of Hermes, Mr. Guillaume de Seynes , who gave us a real 101 on Hermes, the house, the heritage, the values, in short therms who they are? why and how they do what they do? It is no coincidence they are one of the biggest if not he biggest luxury House out there. All this thanks to the unique heritage and savor faire, Christophe Lemaire has designed and amazing collection this season, as I saw it, I saw that mastery of leather, silk and exuberant materials come together to create amazing clothes. Long leather skirts and pants, cashmere capes and deconstructed oversized coats.  A masculine silhouette that still had certain feminity. accessorized in a simple way with hats, some golden accessories and a new style go clutch, a little elegant square, I am smelling “it clutch” :). But the one thing that still as it has been an hour I came out of the show is the richness of the materials, you could see with out touching the softness of the cashmere coats as well as the leather, there are pieces so unique, I will post them separately because they earned their place. As I saw the collection I remembered the answer on Mr. Seynes of to the price of the Hermes pieces and why they where so limited, he replied that the goal of the house is to always have the best material and indeed in this collection you can see it is not only about the bags but it is also about the clothes. This is my first Hermes show, oh those miracles I just love them!!!, I hope the first of many.
