McQ Alexander McQueen Fall Winter 2012

Magical Forrest

Here is the long awaited McQ Fall Winter 2012 show, Sarah Burton brought McQueen back to the London fashion week, through a theatrical show setting a magical autumn forrest like catwalk, the leaves, the lights the trees, where a magical scene of the show. The collection was quite beautiful with very amazing craftsmanship in some of the pieces, the military colored skirts, the red dress and of course the flowered one. This collection does take McQ into quite a luxurious level, it looks more than a bis line, I imagine the prices will also reflect that as certain pieces could be part of the main line. Sarah Burton in really doing a great job on perpetuating the life of the brand in general, keeping McQueen’s unique spirit but adding her own touch. My critique, the hair was not really original as it was a copy of Manish Arora’s fw 2011 show (Look at orange hair), and this amazing clothes deserve better hair and beautiful make up, but the that is all, some of dresses are really simply amazing.

Be Magical,

Love,

Yavidan
