Today I had another wonderful discovery: Julien Fournie. He is the master mind behind the youngest official invited member of the Haute Couture calendar in Paris (January 2011). He has created the house in 2009, after having a very rich education and professional experience, from Dior, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Torrent and Charles Jourdan.Always being very involved with Haute Couture and giving spice to his shows through provocative names and concepts. This season he presented the collection under the Alexander III bridge in the center of Paris and he entitled his collection “Premier Extase” and dazzled the audience with color, texture and innovation ( A Latex Bridal Dress, for example), also he used a special software called Fashionlab created by Dassault systems to enable designers to design their creation in 3D through their computers. As a note in the show I loved the usage of a screen I believe designers should use more visual support to enhance their show. He is one of the young visionaries of the Parisian Haute Couture scene and one of the nicest too :0. This long day ended with this great show, champagne a big hug from Julien, what else can a girl that loves fashion and Paris want?
