Christian Dior FW 2011-12 : The last show of Galliano

The End of an Era

Today marks the end of an Era of the Maison of Christian Dior, the last show of Jhon Galliano, where he was not there at the end to vow to his public, his favorite part. I have decided to post the first and last piece just to capture the moment in silence because even though the collection was very beautiful (I will post all of it later) there is an air of melancholy, Galliano filled the runways with beauty, creativity and surprises, each and every time, his designs revamped the brand, having continuous success for 15 years, “this enfant terrible” of the Central Saint Martin’s College was the first to step the runways of Paris to revolutionize the old codes and bring them into the new century, we don’t really know what happened in that restaurant to provoke Galliano’s attitude what is sure is that it changed his life and the course of fashion, but we can’t forget the amazing creations he has made, everybody has a bad day, we should not forget that. Let’s see what comes next…

Love,

Yavidan
