After running and getting lost in the city (yes it is my first time) and I made the innocent mistake of going to the Palazzo de Pitti thinking of course that is where Pitti Uomo’s 83  will be held I made it to the first fashion show was that of Andrea Pompilio, one of the rising stars of italian fashion invited again this season to show his Fall Winter collection at The Leopolda Station. His proposal was unique in the mix of textures and colors that in a normal world we would think it does not make sense but at the end it kind of does! I particularly admired the mix of textures and prints , that in being different made just perfect sense, also he dared to put color to winer with yellow peacoats and pink sweaters showing us that winter does not have to be grey or dark colored, you can dare to be bold. Lastly my favorite details?? The shopping bag to put my baguettes and yes the slippers with fur, maybe a little allusion to  Celine’s ss 2013 interpretation of the Birkenstock  … who knows but I definitely would want a pair even if they are for guys ;). Tomorrow I will give you a real Pitti report, it is a wonderful place indeed but only photos will explain for  me.

Be Bold,
