For many. many years since Tom Ford’s times, Gucci has not used celebrities to endorse the brand. This season everything changes as many things in fashion, for their institutional campaign called Forever Now the spokesperson will be Charlotte Casiraghi, a first for both in this case. This choice makes it clear the brand wanting to appeal in some way the young market and keep the old core values of the brand. (The concept smells a little like Louis Vuitton institutional ads, at the end of the day it is the same thing) just they did wait a little too long to launch it. The ads are nice and where shot by Peter Lindbergh (Photograph God) but not as striking as those for Vuitton by Leibovitz (Photograph Godess).
